IKEA is awesome! (Like we didn't already know that!) They have this all-glass display cabinet that I have wanted forever. I just haven't had room for it. I told my sister that it would be perfect for displaying her rock collection. But since it is $59.99 and she is unemployed it wasn't going to happen.

Until she saw the ad.

IKEA has daily specials, slashing the prices of some of their items. What is the daily special for today? Oh yes, the glass cabinet. Instead of paying $59.99 for the cabinet, it will only be $19.99!

So she was looking at IKEA's website and saw the special-- she was so excited that she marked it on the calendar (see photo) so she wouldn't forget. I told her I would go with her because I have always wanted to get breakfast at IKEA, but am unable to drag my butt out of bed that early. Since this was a "One Day Only" kind of thing we knew we should be there when IKEA opened-- worked for me-- I would finally get to eat breakfast there!

Or so I thought.

So last night she was online checking the store hours. She called me into her room, saying she had something to show me.

IKEA has free breakfast for the next week.

What is better than finally getting to eat something you have been waiting so long for? Eating it for free! So I woke up this morning and asked what time we should leave. She said 9:15. I asked if I should wake up our other sister to see if she wants to join us. She said I could but she probably wouldn't want to go. And that we were not stopping for breakfast. "Why would we stop for breakfast when we are eating at IKEA?" I thought to myself. I said I would wake her up and ask anyway, wondering if my youngest sister had something against IKEA's breakfast. My other sister repeated that we would not be stopping for breakfast. My brain was starting to slowly wake up. I was afraid to ask, but I HAD to. "Well, we are still eating at IKEA, right?"

WRONG!

I stood there stunned. This couldn't be. What had happened? Why did she change her mind? Would she have told me if I didn't ask? Why can't I have breakfast there?!

So I told her I was only going for the food. If I wasn't going to be fed I wasn't going to go. I would go back to bed.

But I couldn't sleep. I made myself frozen waffles as an attempt to fill the void in my stomach. But the whole time I was thinking about eggs, potatoes, and bacon. FREE eggs, potatoes, and bacon...

Gum

This is the coolest gum packaging ever! It folds out, and there is a bit of adhesive at the bottom of all the pieces so they don't slide around and fall out. The gum is pretty good too-- it is that Trident layers stuff. I got the green apple/ golden pineapple flavor.
